Issaquah Premier Dental – one of Issaquah’s top-rated dental offices – is hiring Sterilization Technician for full-time & part-time permanent positions. The job duties include setting up and cleaning treatment rooms, preparing and sterilizing instruments and materials.

Description

We are looking for the right person to join our growing team! We strive to provide an exceptional experience in all aspects of our office. The primary responsibility in this position is to assist and support our providers in treatment procedures and other duties pertaining to providing patients with excellent care. We are looking for someone who is searching for a long-term dental work home where they can grow with the business and have the potential for vertical career growth.

 

Responsibilities

  • Preparing patients for treatment by welcoming, comforting, and seating patients
  • Preparing all instruments and materials needed for the appointment
  • Sterilizing and maintaining equipment, instruments and operatories
  • Keeping operatories clean and adequately stocked
  • Being able to learn and adequately manipulate dental software (Oryx)
  • Periodontal charting
  • Performing other supportive office tasks
  • Laboratory work- pouring models, making whitening trays, etc

Qualifications

  • Experience preferred (willing to train with the right candidate)
  • Patient, positive, and energetic attitude
  • Friendly and personable
  • Eager to learn and adapt to the growing needs of the office
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Computer proficiency- must be computer savvy
  • Fast learner- ability to learn to use office software (Oryx) and other programs
  • Attention to detail is a must!
  • Problem-solving/critical thinking skills- must be independent and able to handle tasks and challenges
  • Must be a self-starter and motivated
  • Strong work ethic with high standards and integrity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willing to learn, willing to improve and get better
