Dental Receptionist Job

Issaquah Premier Dental – one of Issaquah’s top-rated dental offices – is hiring Dental Receptionist – Front Desk for full-time & part-time permanent positions. A rare opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced practice with great patients and teammates. The job duties include attending to patients on the phone, in person, and email. Co-ordinate and organize appointments and administration to facilitate the efficient running of the dental office during busy times.


  • Communicate with patients and suppliers (e.g. book appointments, answer the phone and email inquiries, billing and ordering)
  • Prepare patient for treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patient
  • Assisting patients to fill out information forms.
  • Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before & during their visit
  • Taking payments and explaining treatment plan and cost
  • Submitting insurance claims
  • Explaining insurance payments
  • Inputting treatment plans
  • Performing office management tasks
  • Maintaining office schedule and patient information on our internal software
  • Preparing patients’ charts and daily schedules for the dental staff
  • Updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedures
  • Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing telephonic reminders.

  • High School Diploma or Post-secondary Degree (preferred)
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
