Dental Receptionist Job

Issaquah Premier Dental – one of Issaquah’s top-rated dental offices – is hiring Treatment Coordinator for full-time & part-time permanent positions. A rare opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced practice with great patients and teammates. The job duties include helping patients understand their insurance benefits and advocate on their behalf when claims are submitted. Co-ordinate and organize appointments and administration to facilitate the efficient running of the dental office during busy times.

We are looking for the right person to join our growing team! We strive to provide an exceptional experience in all aspects of our office. The primary responsibility at this position is to help patients understand their insurance benefits and advocate on their behalf when claims are submitted. We are looking for someone who is searching for a long term dental work home where they can grow with the business and have the potential for vertical career growth.

 

Responsibilities

  • Creating and explaining treatment plans, address patient concerns and answer any questions
  • Assist in prioritizing treatment plan and establish a plan for scheduling and payment of services
  • Build trust and understand patients’ goals and situation
  • Manage and maintain payment options (payment plans, CareCredit, Lending Club)
  • Coordinating financial resources and/or insurance requirements and billing practices
  • Uphold, regulate, update office financial policy
  • Bill dental insurance, post payments, and claim estimations/pre-determinations
  • Following up on claims regularly, sending out corrected claims in a timely manner
  • Organized system of collecting accounts receivable and outstanding balances, and tracking them in a timely manner
  • Oversee and track dental benefit plan
  • Assist in answering phones, scheduling appointments, as well as other general office duties
  • Greet and check patients in and out before and after treatment

Qualifications

  • 1 year experience required
  • Knowledge and understanding of dental terminology, ADA Coding, dental insurance and dental treatment plans
  • Computer proficiency- must be computer savvy
  • Fast learner- ability to learn to use office software (Oryx) and other programs
  • Attention to detail is a must!
  • Problem solving/critical thinking skills- must be independent and able to handle tasks and challenges
  • Must be self-starter and motivated
  • Strong work ethic with high standards and integrity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willing to learn, willing to improve and get better
  • Must be a team player- willingness to be a part of a team
  • Highly organized
